Coffee Fellowship-
Every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. we enjoy
coffee and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. |
 |
AppleFest- Magnolia's
most important ministry and mission fundraiser.
Applefest is a fall community fellowship
traditionally held the last Saturday in October.
Applefest features fresh-picked apples from
Virginia orchards, apple cider, apple butter,
bake sale, Brunswick stew, and craft sale. |
 |
SpringFest-
Usually held
in May, Springfest includes a yard sale and bake
sale and children's games and crafts.
Money raised supports the general budget. |
 |
Family Night Suppers-
Family Night Suppers provide a special
fellowship opportunity for the Magnolia Family.
These dinners are often covered-dish and occur
seven- to eight times a year. Family night
suppers frequently feature entertainment, guest
speakers, or games. A nursery is provided
for children two years of age and under. |
 |
Special Suppers-
Special Suppers are held for important seasons
in the Christian calendar such as Advent,
Pentecost, and Lent. These suppers are
usually covered-dish and often feature a
post-dinner talk on the meaning of the season
by Pastor Mike Derflinger. A nursery is
provided for children two years of age and
under. |
